Mary Beth Vanderveldt Oliver, 43, of Jonesboro died Monday, December 3, 2012 at her home. She had lived in Jonesboro for eight years moving here from Huntsville, Alabama. Mary Beth was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Junior Auxiliary. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Learning Disability from Auburn University. Mary Beth enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom.
Survivors include her children, Tripp Oliver and Reagan Oliver of the home; parents, John and Sandy Vanderveldt of Palm City, Florida; sisters, Jennifer (Howard) Vanderveldt Schmidt of Denver, Colorado; Laura (Brook) Vanderveldt Thomas of West Palm Beach Florida; nieces, Bergen Schmidt and Lauren Schmidt; nephew, Reese Thomas.
A memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
