Mary Odessa Reeves

Mary Odessa White Reeves, 87, of North Little Rock and formerly of Jonesboro, died December 31, 2012, at North Little Rock Baptist Hospital. Odessa was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church since 1951. She was a member of the Herman Family and Community Education Club, Eastern Star, and was a charter member of Methodist Hospital Auxiliary of Jonesboro.

Odessa is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Vivian Benson White; sister, Faye Adams; and son-in-law Tom Bell;

Survivors include her husband, Charles S. Reeves of North Little Rock; brother, Lavanda (Ann) White; sister, Shirley (David) Sowell;

Three daughters, Carmen (Steve) Branum, Carol Ann (Ed) Bone, and Cathy Bell;

Seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Raul) Hernandez, Holly (Mark) Kerlin, Jennifer (Mark) Win, Amanda (Michael) Markwick, Leigh Ann Golden, David Branum, and Nancy Golden;

Three great-grandchildren, Jessica Hernandez, Jonas Kerlin, and Genevieve Kerlin.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2p.m. with Rev. Glen Putman officiating. Burial will be private.
