Mary Jo Maples

Mary Jo Maples, 79, of Bono passed from this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Mary Jo was born in Alicia, Arkansas on September 14, 1939, to the late Russell and Myrtle Riley Maples. Mary Jo lived in Bono for 5 years, moving there from Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southwest Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Freida Williams; Niece, Kenaleida Tonacia; Nephew, Tony Fort and a great-nephew, Jeremiah Ozbun.

Survived by her sister, Linda Fort of Bono and brother, Bill (Tootsie) Maples of Chicago. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
