Mary Lee Prescott

Mary Lee Prescott, 75, of Jonesboro, died Monday at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Marked Tree, Mrs. Prescott lived in Cotton Plant before moving to Jonesboro 30 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Wayne Smith and Lester Prescott; and by 1 brother: Jimmy Stone.

Survivors include:

2 Daughters: Becky Slinkard of Batesville, Mississippi, and
Juanita Ballard of Spokane, Washington;

3 Sisters: Wanda Long, and
Donna Harness, both of Jonesboro, and
Patsy Riggs of Tulsa, Oklahoma;

2 Brothers: Charles “Chili” McKay of Jonesboro, and
Eugene McKay of Van Cleave, Mississippi;

3 Grandchildren: Nathan Slinkard, Debra Slinkard and Jennifer Slinkard;

10 Great Grandchildren, and

1 Great, Great Grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Friday morning at 10:00 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center, 3016 N. Church, Jonesboro, with Leonard Lingenfelter officiating.

There will be no visitation.
