Mary Kirby

Mary E. Kirby, 84, of Jonesboro died Saturday March 22, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in Oxford, Mississippi on March 2, 1930 to the late P.C. and Ester Riales Miller. She had lived in Jonesboro most of her life moving here from Florence, Alabama. She was a retired clerk form Kroger after 25 years and later worked for the mayor office for 8 years. She was of the Church of Christ belief. Mary was a very loving and caring person, to know and to love.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son;

Survived by her daughter; Maria Fairchild (Jerry) of N. Little Rock, Arkansas.

2 Granddaughter; Shelly Secrete and Ashley Kirby.

4 Great- grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday March 31, 2014 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Jimmy Young officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 10:30 until 12:30 March 31, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Henery, Danny Merritt, Jim Summers, Arlie Eeeens, David Eagle, Sammie Peeks, Larry Johnson, Curtis Merritt, Keith Campell and Bennie Campell.
