Mary Kathryn Wright Allison

Mary Kathryn Wright Allison, 71 of Jonesboro died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was of the Baptist belief and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Allison; her parents, Harold and Frances Wright; two sons, Richard Allison and David Allison.

Survivors include her daughters, Ina Ruth Allison; Rebecca Allison-Johnson and husband, Robert; Kathy Lee West and husband Wayne, all of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Anita Allison of Jonesboro; step-mom, Marilyn Wright of Lake City; brothers, Tony Wright of Kansas City, Missouri; James Wright of Lake City; one sister, Ruth Patterson of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Friendly Hope Baptist Church with Jimmy Flynn and Bobby Barnett officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow at Pierce Cemetery with James Pierce, Joey Troutman, James Bridges, Joseph Bridges, Michael Patterson and Gary Patterson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lake City Class of 1957. Visitation will be from 5-7 Tuesday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
