Mary Mae Hicks

Mary Mae Hicks, 83, of Jonesboro died Monday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was a member of Valley Ridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Erschel Hicks, Jr., and wife Ester, of Jonesboro; one sister Virginia Adams of Goobertown; three grandchildren, Danny Hicks, Richard Hicks, and Angela Finch; and three great grandchildren, Alexa Hicks, Riley Hicks, and Owen Finch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erschel Hicks, Sr. and a sister, Sarah Gasaway.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 am at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Floyd officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers will be Louis Ralph, Dennis Lamberth, Bob Walton, Bill Vick, Dickie Kovaleski, and David Kovaleski. Honorary pallbearers will be Alexa Hicks, Riley Hicks, and Owen Finch.
