Mary Aliene Wiles Greene

Mary Aliene Greene, 96, of Little Rock died January 7, 2016 in Little Rock.

She was born in her parent’s home in Craighead County, Arkansas. After living in Jonesboro, AR most of her life she and her husband, Sheryle moved to Little Rock to be closer to their only son, Bill and his family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sheryle O’Neal Greene in 2008. Also preceding her in death were her parents, James Leonard and Stella Marie Wiles and two of her sisters, Norene Kaffka and Helen Smith.

She is survived by her son; Bill Greene and his wife Carol of Fayetteville, AR, one sister, Curley Smith of Jonesboro, AR.
She was affectionately called Gran by her two surviving granddaughters; Rebekah Lowery (Ben) of Fayetteville, AR and Rachel Bierman (Kenny) of Columbia, MD and her six great grandchildren; Will, Hayes, Olivia, Caroline and Sutton Lowery and Austin Bierman.

The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Valley Ranch Nursing & Rehab for the loving care given to Mary Aliene over the last several years of her life.

Before moving to Little Rock Sheryle and Aliene spent many years as devoted members at Walnut Street Baptist Church and First Baptist Church both in Jonesboro. Because of their love of both of these churches the family requests memorials be sent to one of these churches or your favorite charity.

Services will be held Friday, January 15 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, AR.
