Mary Elizabeth Gordon

Mary Gordon, 77, of Paragould, died Thursday at her home. Born in Miami, Oklahoma, she had lived in Hammond, Indiana, Cherokee Village, and Paragould. She enjoyed sewing and was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church in Cherokee Village where she had served as secretary for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold Gordon; son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Deena Gordon of Paragould; brother, Don Beason; sisters, Thelma Fouts, Lavona Sadd, all of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason Gordon, Kurt Gordon, Miranda Ruenroeng; 2 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Gordon; granddaughter, Krista Denton; grandson, Adam Gordon; and her parents, W.S. & Ethel White Beason.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Larry White officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
