Mary Barbara Gill

Barbara Gill, 85 of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016, with her husband by her side.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10-11AM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.

A longtime resident of Jonesboro, Barbara is survived by her husband Edward of 64 years; children, Barbara Bailey (Mark) of Conway, Anne Marie Domek (Bob) of Indianapolis, Eddie Gill (Kaye) of Arlington, Texas, Mary Jo Turner (Henry) of Jonesboro. Barbara has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by a sister, Peg Dougherty and a brother, John Chappius; and many nieces and nephews, all from Wilmington, Delaware.

Barbara’s memory may be honored by donations to the Alzheimer’s National Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60601-7633 or to a church or charity of your choice.
