Mary Nadine Garrison, 79, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at her residence. Mary was born in Trumann, Arkansas on February 3, 1939, to the late Lawrence and Alvia Toy Roman. Mary lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mary was a supervisor for Frolic Footwear and later retired as a factory worker from General Electric. She loved gardening and was a lifelong rancher of Craighead County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Garrison, daughter, Susan Ciontea, Stepmother, Ruby Adams, sisters, Dorothy Harris, and Lucille Genter. Brother, Clarence Roman, granddaughter, Misty Barker and grandson, Jackson Bollier.

Survived by her daughters, Lisa Betts (David) of Jonesboro.

Sandra Headrick of Mary Ester, Florida.

Kristi Lea of Jonesboro.

Stepsons, Bill Garrison (Jerri Lynn) of San Antonio, Texas and Byron Blanchard of Walnut Ridge. Stepdaughters, Judy Marie Wall of Mount Vernon, New Hampshire, Kelly Ranager (Jarvis) of Lucedale, Mississippi and Terri Winget (John) of Seattle, Washington.

8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Richard Neeley officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
