Mary Dean Puryear

Mary Dean Puryear, 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Monday morning at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Little Rock, Mary lived most of her life in Jonesboro and Cherokee Village. She was of the Methodist faith and a retired realtor with White Realty in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edgar and Leta Dean.

Survivors include:

Husband: Neil Puryear;

1 Daughter: Leigh Ann Puryear;

1 Son and Daughter-in-law: Dean and Elisha Puryear;

1 Brother: Sonny Dean;

1 Granddaughter: Amber Whitaker;

1 Great Grandson: Rayce Whitaker.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Rev. Jim West officiating.

A private burial service will precede the memorial service.

Honorary pallbearers include: Bob Houston, Bud Langford, Karl McSwain, George Puryear, Robert Davis and David Ferguson.

Visitation will follow in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
