Mary Lou Cox

Mary Lou Cox, 79, of Paragould passed from this life on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at her home. She was born to the late Martin and Pheine Crabb in Arkansas on July 6, 1944. She worked for L A Darling Company for 25 years retiring as a supervisor. Mary enjoyed visiting her family in Rockford, Illinois and traveling with her husband, Waymond. Church and her relationship with God has always been a constant in her life until health issues made it too difficult for her to attend in person. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ron Floyd; her daughter, Naomi Starling; and five brothers.

Mary is survived by her husband of 24 years, Waymond Cox of Paragould; son, Rayburn Upton (Dana) of Winnsboro, Texas;  grandchildren; John Sterling (Brandy), Amber Rice (Matt), Tina Starling, Danny Upton, Lindi Upton, Jennifer Cook, Jamie Floyd, Lonnie Floyd, Matt Floyd (Alexis), April Cline (Jeff); fourteen great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Emerson Funeral Home.

The service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
