Mary Barkley

Mary Barkley, 83, of Jonesboro, went to her Heavenly reward on Friday, February 5, 2021.  She moved to Jonesboro in 1954 moving here from Lunsford.  She was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church.  Mary was a cosmetologist for over thirty years.  Many things she loved in life was to cook, travel, her family, and Werther’s candy. Each provided special memories for her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Barkley, her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Kornegay and her husband, Alan; Sherry Canady and her husband Bill; grandchildren, Jake Kornegay (Laura Thompson), Will Branch (Laura), Conner Branch; Laura Courtois (Patrick) and Sarah Lawson; and seven great grandchildren.
