Mary Anne St. Clair

Mary Anne St. Clair, 81, of Jonesboro passed from this life Monday, July 1, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to Alva L. and Valeria Inskeep on February 10, 1938 in Corinth, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mary Anne has resided in Jonesboro for the last fifty years after moving from Memphis. She is a long time member of First Baptist Church.

Mary Anne was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, ASU Honor Society of Nursing, RN in Labor and Delivery at city of Memphis Hospitals and St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Sanctuary Choir First Baptist Church, The Ladies Ensemble First Baptist Church, and The Aces and Spaces Bridge Club.

Mary Anne is survived by her husband of 57 years, John T. St. Clair MD, of the home; one son, Stephen L. (Melissa) St. Clair of Memphis, TN; two daughters, Laura L. (Lee) Kneibert of Jonesboro, AR and Karen E. Lambert (Toby) of Little Rock, AR. She also leaves behind one brother, William (Glenda) Inskeep of Florence, AL; eight grandchildren, Thomas (Lizzie), Emily Anne, and David Murphy; Philip (Mikayla), Matthew, and Anna St. Clair; Alexi and Carter Lambert; one great grandson, Beckham Murphy and one special nephew, Captain Christopher (Suzie) Inskeep of the United States Navy, and her beloved fur baby, Lucy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Arliss Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mary Anne’s grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the ladies ensemble and members of Mary Anne’s Sunday school class from First Baptist Church.
