Mary Alice Willcockson

Mary Alice Willcockson, 89, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. A native and lifelong resident of Jonesboro, she was a retired school teacher and a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew & Sarah Carson and by her husband, Calvin Willcockson.

Mary Alice is survived by one sister-in-law, Jean Willcockson and many loving friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery on Sunday, June 10, 2012 with Father Jesse Perkins officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A special thanks goes out to Mary Alice’s caregivers; Alice Guy, Denise Horner, Roberta Horner, Pam Dumas, Betty Procter, Helen Travis, Peggy Shaw, Cathy Simmons, and Betty Walker.

There will be no visitation.
