Marvin "Buddy" Ray Gunter

Marvin “Buddy” R. Gunter, 63, of Smithville died Thursday October 25, 2012 at St Bernards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel Woods Gunter; one brother; four sisters; two grandchildren, Maria Pereira and Anselmo Lepe-Soltero.

He survived by his wife Vonnie Gunter; two sons, Brandon Gunter of Nevada, and Andres Gunter of Smithville, AR; daughters Brandy Bedford of Ft Irwin, CA, Michelle Shaffer of Black Rock, and Anita Soltero Lopez of Jonesboro; two brothers James and John Gunter; four sisters, Melba Straver, Sadie McCall, Mary Brown, Mable Gunter, and Brenda Parrish, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Buddy was an avid hunter and fisherman. His lifelong dream was to raise mules. His most cherished times were spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

All Services are Private and will be held at the family home.
