Marty C. Walpole

Marty C. Walpole, 62, of Bono passed from this life Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Nea Baptist Memorial Hospital. Marty was born September 23, 1951 to Paul and Betty Walpole in Hayti, MO. He had spent the last 48 years residing in Bono before coming from Greenville; Ms. Marty was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Marty was a fisherman who enjoyed spending time outdoors and mowing the lawn. He was also a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and he enjoyed football as well. Marty loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, especially while playing Bonanza in the yard with Hunter, his grandson. Marty and Donna shared a very special time every afternoon when they would just sit in there swing in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Walpole.

Marty is survived by his loving wife Donna of 41 years; his mother: Betty Jean Walpole; one son: Jason (Alison) Walpole of Bono; one daughter: Natalie (David) Blackwell of Jonesboro; one brother: Mike (Sandra) of Paragould; one sister: Paulette (Elliot) Wells of Kingston Springs, TN; two grandchildren: Hunter and Mackenzie Walpole both of Bono.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Friday, July 18, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sigman officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will include Elliot Wells, Colby Taylor, Larry Elliott, Mark Walpole, Philip Sutton, and Lonnie Smith.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, July 17, 2014.
