Martha Chan Wing, 97, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House with her family by her side.

Martha was born on August 21, 1920 in Canton, China. She and her husband H. John Wing were owners of Wing’s Cash Store in Jonestown, Mississippi. She was a homemaker that loved to cook and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Jonestown United Methodist Church in Jonestown, Mississippi, and she has been attending St. Paul United Methodist Church during her time in Jonesboro.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband H. John Wing; and a son, Frank Wing.

She is survived by daughters, Sue (Frank) Lee of Jonesboro and Linda (Ken) Broxson of Milton, FL; by son, Gene (Becky) Wing of Jonesboro; daughter in law Demaris Wing Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Greg Lee, Derek Lee (Dana), Brian Wing, Dr. Eric Wing (Dr. Jamie Wing), and Heather (Randy) Burt; great grandchildren, Jacob Lee, Winston Lee, Eli Lee, Connor Burt, Willa Burt, Annabelle Burt; two sister in laws and one brother in law; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 3:00pm on Saturday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Sigman and Pastor Ken Stallings officiating. Interment will take place at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mrs. Wing family; Greg Lee, Derek Lee, Brian Wing, Dr. Eric Wing, Jacob Lee, Winston Lee, Eli Lee, and Melvin Wing.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time at 3:00pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401, or the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2201 S. Culberhouse Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401, in loving memory of Martha C. Wing.
