Martha Ward

Martha A. Ward, 77, of Jonesboro, died Friday at her home. Born in Judsonia, she had spent most of her life in Jonesboro. She collected angels and, before her illness, liked to crochet and read. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Presley Sisco, Rogers; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula Miller and her husband, of Haskell, Tammy Ward & Ronnie Reeves, of Jonesboro; brother, Charles Pratt of Jonesboro; sister, Alice Alsup, Winnfield, LA; 3 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery with Dr. Vic Stepka officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
