Martha Rampey

Martha Gail Rampey, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life May 15, 2019. She was born to the late Joe Perry and Helen Spikes of Pocahontas, Arkansas on December 14, 1949. Martha resided in Jonesboro since 1991. She was a long-time member of the Valley View Church of Christ. Martha is preceded in death by her parents.

Martha is survived by her husband of 44 years, Phil Rampey, of the home; daughter, Elizabeth Murphy and her husband, Brandon Murphy of Pocahontas; son, Philip Rampey and his wife, Alexis Rampey of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Audrey Murphy, Clara Murphy and Jake Murphy all of Pocahontas and Phillip Rampey Jr. and Max Rampey, both of Little Rock. She is also survived by her two sisters, Carol Ann Mitchell of Little Rock and Margaret Smith of Hendersonville, TN and their families. Martha Graduated from Harding University in 1972 with a B.A. degree in education and taught school for many years. In 1995 she received an R.N. degree from Arkansas State University and worked as a nurse until her retirement.

A visitation will be from noon to 1:30 PM Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the Valley View Church of Christ 4500 Southwest Drive Jonesboro, AR 72401.
