Martha Ann Maynard

Martha Ann Maynard, 68, of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at St Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Jonesboro, Martha lived all of her life in Lake City and was a 1971 graduate of Lake City High School. She worked over 21 years at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City retiring in 2009. Martha was an active member of Miller's Temple COGIC Church in Jonesboro.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew Franklin Maynard and Lucy Williams Maynard Barrow.

Survivors include her son, Andrew Franklin Maynard, II, of Lake City;
1 brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Micah Maynard of Lake City;
1 sister, Eva Creekmore of Lake City; and
1 niece, Christy Nelson (Byron).

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Miller's Temple Church of God in Christ with Pastor Glen Conley, Sr. officiating. Private burial will be in Lake City Cemetery. Visitation will follow the memorial service at the church.
