Martha "Marty" Lynn Wolfe

Martha “Marty” Lynn Wolfe, 70 of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Marty graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro where she retired as an administrative analyst from Arkansas State University with 26 years vested. Marty loved being a cat caretaker and leaves behind Max and Mercedes. Marty also enjoyed cooking, dancing, planting in her yard, watching Tom Hanks’ movies, bartending at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very fun-loving, caring person and always had a smile.
She is survived by her son, Daniel (Nikki) Luster of Jonesboro; sister-in-law Sue (Dennis) Mathes of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jacob Bullock, Courtney Bullock and Judd Luster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Fagan Mathes and E.C. “Conard” Mathes; her sister, Delina Valente; her brother, Dennis Mathes and her daughter Marilyn Bullock.
Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
