Martha Elizabeth Mansfield, 77, of Eaton passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born October 25, 1941 in Memphis to the late Stanley and Dorothy Mae Faught. Martha was of the Church of Christ faith. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Martha enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, reading, painting, crafts and doing puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Mansfield.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Gerald “Andy” Andrew (Martina) Simpson of Columbia, South Carolina, Timothy “Tim” Mark (Rhoda) Mansfield of Powhatan; 2 daughters, Jennifer (Michael) Bristow of Jonesboro, Judith “Judy” (Richard) Martin of Brookland; sister, Margaret (Jim) Stafford of Grand Junction, Colorado; 10 grandchildren: Stephen Bristow, Blake Bristow, David Simpson, Stephanie Simpson, Julie Branum, Corey Holt, Ashley Mansfield, Chloe Martin, Jacob Lenderman, Montana Hall; 8 great grandchildren, Hutch Bristow, Dawson Heckethorn, Sophie Simpson, Lucy Simpson, JenniBeth Bristow, Canon Bristow, Josslyn Bristow, Aspen Heckethorn and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Lynn Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Old Lebanon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
