Martha Jane Harris, 60, of Jonesboro passed from this life on April 22, 2016 at her home. She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on July 29, 1955 to the late Archable and Geneva Smith Frazier. Martha lived in Jonesboro for 15, years, moving here from Newport and was a member of the Huntington Church. She worked as a certified nurse’s aide in the surrounding areas, former director of Battered Women’s Shelter in Newport. She loved to rescue animals and loved to work in the garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Stephens and brother, Archie Frazier.
Survived by her husband, Benny Harris of the home.
Daughter, Amanda Parker Wyatt of Jonesboro.
Son, Robert Matthew Taylor and wife Jessica of Jonesboro.
Brothers, Larry Frazier of Hoxie and Johnny Frazier of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Sisters, Nancy Mabry of Jonesboro, Peggy Tinsley, Patsy Bowley and Mary Liscomb all of Hoxie, Arkansas.
1 granddaughter, Sarah Madison Tate.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Huntington Church, 900 W. Monroe Avenue with Bro. Guy Cochel officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be from 4-5:00 P.M. on Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Huntington Church.

Sky lanterns will be released following the service, in memory of Martha.
