Martha "Delois" Mcdonald

Martha “Delois” McDonald, 90, of Paragould passed from this life Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late Cleo and Ruby Baskin in Lake City on October 10, 1932.

Delois has resided the majority of her life in northeast Arkansas after spending a brief amount of time In Illinois. She was an avid seamstress who would sew every day except for on Sundays. Delois also enjoyed spending time yard selling. She lived the farm life and spent her time taking care of others. Delois was the true definition of a caretaker.

In addition to her parents, Delois is preceded in death by her husband, Ellis McDonald; daughter, Linda McDonald; and brother, Lenzie Baskin.

Delois is survived by her son, Keith (Judy) McDonald of Atkins, AR; brother, Monta Wayne (Glenda) Baskin of Paragould; two grandchildren, Stacy (Marcus) Long and Christy (Claudio) Castanedo; and great grandchildren, Jasper Castenedo, Guinevere Castanedo, Landon Long, Camden Long, and Ellie Long.

A graveside at Pine Log will be announced at a later date.
