Martha Decker

Martha Decker, 73, of Pocahontas, died Wednesday at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born and attended school in Cash. She had lived in Pocahontas since 1983. She was of the Baptist belief.

Mrs. Decker is survived by her children: Freeman Decker, Bentonville, Patricia DeSutter, Eureka Springs, Sara Lesley, Bono, Danny Decker, Pocahontas, Sherry Edwards, Richmond, KY, Dewayne Decker, Pocahontas, Mark Decker, Maynard; brother and sister, Lester Watkins, Cash, Lela Montgomery, Jonesboro; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her ex-husband, Marion Decker, Swifton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Lavell & Della Mae Thetford Watkins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Johnson Cemetery in Cash with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
