Martha Pearline Combs

Martha Pearline Combs, 80, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro and was a member of the County Line Church of Christ. Pearline was preceded in death by her son, Carl Wayne Combs; brother, James Martin; sister, Faye Greenfield; grandchildren, Jeremy Combs and Tammy Jo Smith; and 4 great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, E. B. Combs of the home; sons, Eddie Combs, Danny Combs, David Combs (Jeanette) and Kenneth Combs all of Jonesboro; daughters, Donna Brand (James) of Bay; JoAnn Johnson of Pocahontas; 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Macey Cemetery near Monette with Michael Nutt and James Brand officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 Friday at Emerson Funeral Home.
