Martha Andrews, 70, of Jonesboro, was surrounded by her family when she went to meet her Lord and Savior. She was a lifelong resident of Brookland. She was born on December 15, 1951 to Tommy and Maurine Wooten. Martha was a member of the Pentecostals of Jonesboro Church. She loved gardening and always grew beautiful flowers. Her musical favorites were gospel bluegrass. She enjoyed reading and her favorite book was the Bible. Travelling with her sisters was always fun and brought much laughter. She always enjoyed hanging out with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Natalie Andrews; sisters, Dianne Jones and Donna Clippard; grandchildren, Rebecca, Christain and Andrew Easley.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Andrews, of the home; daughters, Sheila Maynard and husband William of Paragould; Melissa Blaylock of Benton, Arkansas; sons, Jonathan Andrews and wife Amy of Jonesboro; Chance Andrews of the home; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a multiple number of nieces and nephews that she loved more than they will ever know.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Pentecostals of Jonesboro Church with Pastor Darrell Runyan, Brock Runyan and Eddie Jones officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Michael Easley, Charlie Easley, Joshua Andrews, Caleb Andrews, Marcus Robinson and Tommy Maynard serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Mason Tucker Blaylock, her loving nephews and Hayden Worley. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time, at the church.
