Mart William Craig

Mart William Craig, 72, of Jonesboro, was born March 1, 1936 and died Tuesday morning at Jonesboro Healthcare. He spent the last 40 years of his life pastoring churches in Dallas, Montana, South Carolina, and Virginia. For the last 16 years, he pastored at Church of God North Main.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loretta Craig; two sons, Sammy Craig (Patricia) of Birmingham, Alabama and Marty Craig of Jonesboro; five grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. John A. Looper presiding. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
