Mark Lloyd Jr

Eddie “Mark” Lloyd Jr, 60, of Trumann departed this life too soon on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home. He was born April 11, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee to Eddie Lloyd Sr and Vermalene Smith.

Mark has lived in the Trumann area most of his life and was of Christian faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and going to the lake. Mark also enjoyed watching sports, especially his grandchildren’s sporting events and was known for his great sense of humor.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Lloyd Sr and his step-mother, Peggy Lloyd.

He leaves behind his daughters, Tifinie (Mark) Welling and Britinie (Brian) Blankenship; his mother, Vermalene Smith; brother, Todd Alexander; sister, Kelly (Kevin) Johnson; step-brother, Barry Cornish; nieces, Ashley Wood and Lindsey Carter; nephew, Brian Cornish as well as his grandchildren, Collins Blankenship, Isla Blankenship, RJ Welling and Maverick Welling.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 from 10-11 am at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Bishop Cemetery in Jonesboro.
