Mark Christopher Harris

Mark Christopher Harris, 61 of Bedford, Texas, passed gently into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Monday, December 12, 2016 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was surrounded by his loving family as he started his Heavenly journey. He was born May 16, 1955 in Mesa, Arizona. Mark was a Christian, devoted father, and loving husband. He was employed by Bank of America for 31 years, and was a loyal, dependable employee. Mark graduated from Westside High School and received his BS degree in Computer Science from Arkansas State University. He enjoyed outdoor hobbies and boating for many years prior to beginning motorcycling. He is preceded in death by his parents J.W. and Wilda Harris.

He is survived by his wife Ginger and daughter Christina (fiancé David Green) of Bedford, Texas, a brother Brock Harris (Candice) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and two nephews Zachary Harris (Lauren) of New Orleans, Louisiana and Chandler Harris (Amelia) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be 11:00 Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Reverend Mark Massey, a longtime friend of the family officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
