Mark Daniel Griffith

Mark Daniel Griffith, 59, of Jonesboro went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at St. Bernard’s Hospital. Mark was born in Jonesboro on June 28, 1958, to Lacy Edward and Sarah Martin Griffith. Mark lived in Jonesboro most of his life, where he worked as a Chaplin for the Craighead County Jail. Mark was a member and elder of the Grace Community Church and was proceeded in death by his mother, Marchetta Griffith.

Survived by his wife, Tina Griffith of the home.

Son, Rocky Griffith of Marion, Arkansas.

Daughter, Amanda Stafford (Jamal) of Clearwater, Florida.

Father, Lacy Edward Griffith of Jonesboro.

Brothers, Steve Griffith of Austin, Texas and Jeff Griffith of Van Buren, Arkansas.
Sister, Miriam Sardone of Clearwater, Florida.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Nevin Gnagey officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Emerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jamal Stafford, Steve Sardone, Ted Mitchell, Scott Holmes, Rick Gohlke and Jimmy Alfons.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center, 910 S. Main St, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
