Marion Eugene Walton Sr.

Marion E Walton, Sr., 87, of Walnut Ridge passed Monday November 4, 2019. He was born in Brookland, Arkansas on September 12, 1932 and attended school at Apt and Valley View.

After high school he married and moved to Illinois where he worked as a machinist for Amour Company.

In the early 60s he moved his family to Northern California where he worked as a millwright for Pacific Lumber and Georgia Pacific.

He returned to Northeast Arkansas in 1976 and continued to work as a welder and millwright until he retired in 1982.

After he retired, he moved to Hoxie and spent his time buying and selling cars, tractors, and lawn mowers.

He is survived by three children, Marion E. Walton Jr, Freddie Ann Miller, and Michael Miller; a grandson, Joshua Miller and a great grandson Joshua Michael.

There will be a private memorial service for Mr. Walton at Whitaker Cemetery in Walnut Ridge.
