Marima Jean Browning, 91, of Jonesboro, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on June 23, 1933 to the late Claude and Lounetta McElrath.
She was retired from General Electric and spent her years after as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and sewing but what brought her the most joy was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard Browning, four brothers, two sisters, and one grandchild Casey Campbell.
She is survived by daughters Hollie (Chris) Weaver of Jonesboro and Linda (Buster) Campbell of Black Oak. Grandchildren Kristy (Cade) Wilson, Lacey (Billy) McDaniel, Katey (Matt) Taylor, Kyley (Clay) Mitchell, and Cullan (Ashlyn) Weaver. Eight great grandchildren Kenzley (Ben) Walker, Marley McDaniel, Merritt McDaniel, Canton Taylor, Kelvey Taylor, Kaizen Mitchell, Callahan Mitchell, and Mary John Weaver. She also leaves behind Max, her special companion poodle that she loved like family.
A private graveside was held on Friday April 25, 2025 at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
