Marilyn Cox Cornwell

October 23, 1948 — November 20, 2007

Marilyn Cox Cornwell, 59, of Brookland, Arkansas went to walk together with God on November 20, 2007. She was born in Highland, Arkansas and had lived in Brookland for the past twelve-years, moving there from Cash, Arkansas. She was a member of the Brookland Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her mom, Maxine Cox; and her grandparents, Ervin and Myrtle Howard.

The family wants to give special thanks to UAMS for their support and care.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cornwell, of the home; two daughters, Sandra Cornwell Gladish, and Tonya Cornwell, both of Brookland; father, Ted Cox, Brookland; Sister, Barbara Smith, Harrisburg, Arkansas; Aunt, Ileen Huff, Eldon, Missouri; special friends, Pete and Loretta Gilbert, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Brookland Church of Christ with Lance Guest and John-Mark Wilson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements with burial to follow at Pine Log Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Herring, Brian Rankin, Greg Smith, Dub Gatlin, Edgar Guest, and Granville Guest. Honorary pallbearers are Pete Gilbert, Roger Bobo and the members of the Brookland Church of Christ.
