Marie Dallas

Marie Dallas, 97, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Sunday, April 22 ^nd 2018 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born July 17, 1920 to the late Willie and Allie Moxley in Cooter, Missouri.

Marie has lived in Jonesboro for over 30 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Marie was a teacher for over 28 years and also worked in the mall for various stores after retiring. Most of all, Marie’s life was a true reflection of Christian love.

In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Dallas and brothers Charles Moxley and Bobby Moxley.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Kay (David) Terrell of Jonesboro; son, Ben (Debbie) Dallas of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Mike (Jennifer) Watson, Mackenzie Dallas, Aaron Dallas, and Jordan (Casey) Drennin; and great-granddaughter, Everly Drennin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 1-3 at First United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be 3 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Miles and Rev. Patty Soward officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
