Marian Gammill Hollaway

Marian Gammill Hollaway, 95, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, November 17, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born to the late Brodie and Rosalie Gammill on May 13, 1927 in the Nettleton area. Marian resided in West Memphis for 42 years and returned to Bay in 1995. She was a member of the Bay United Methodist Church. Marian worked at Union Planters in Memphis for 40 years.

In addition to her parents, Marian is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Hollaway of 61 years; step-father, Claude Gammill; sister, Virginia Gartman; and brother, Joe Gammill.

Marian is survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and special friends, Ray and Kay Lee, Brenda and Frank Nichols and Claudia Lamberson.

A visitation will be from 11-12 pm Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside will follow at Nettleton Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with Keith Gammill officiating.

Active pallbearers will include the nephews and nieces.
