Margie Cathrine Caldwell

Margie Cathrine Henson Caldwell died at home in Trumann, AR, on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Margie was born on Sunday, April 30, 1944, in Poplar Grove, AR. She was the daughter of Joe Thomas Henson of Poplar Grove, AR, and Leah Odell Childers Henson of Des Arc, AR.

Margie was a homemaker and lived most of her adult life in West Helena, AR, prior to moving to Jonesboro in 1993. She relocated to Trumann in 2003 and became a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Margie was preceded in death by her Father Joe Thomas Henson, her paternal grandfather Thomas Bates Henson and paternal grandmother Lela Mae White Henson; her maternal grandfather Martin Alexander Childers and maternal grandmother Leah Charlotte Willard Childers.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Caldwell Ellis of Jonesboro, AR; a son, Tim Caldwell Sr. of Moro, AR; her mother, Leah Odell Henson of the home; two brothers: Winford Wayne Henson and Jimmy Darrell Henson both of West Helena, AR; six sisters: Carolyn Shirlene Edwards of Jonesboro, AR, Marion Jean Grigsby, Betty Jo Long, Edna Dell Gartman, and Delsie Cook-Wright all of Trumann, AR, and Brenda Gail Henson of Marion, AR.; five grandchildren: Tim Caldwell II, Kim Caldwell Folsom, Justin Heath Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell Ellis, Benjamin Cole Caldwell; and one great-grandson, Ledger Glendon Folsom.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2009, at 10:00 at Maple Grove Baptist Church near Trumann with Dr. Jim Shaw and Mr. Bob Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers include Tim Caldwell, II, Justin Caldwell, Guy Brinker, II, Jason Cook, Darrell Henson, Michael Henson and Derek Gartman.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening, 5-7, at Maple Grove Baptist Church near Trumann.
