Margaret Ann Timmons

Margaret Ann Timmons, 79, of Bay passed from this life Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Jonesboro, AR at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born to the late Woodrow and Elsalene Chamberlain on March 1, 1943 in Long Beach, CA.

Margaret has resided most of her life in Bay after coming from Long Beach. She is a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Bay. She was an avid traveler. Most of all, Margaret loved her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Elsalene Chamberlain.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Timmons, of the home; one son, Marty (Teresa) Timmons of Jonesboro; one daughter, Leslie (Lee) Martin of Bay; one brother, Michael (Judy) Chamberlain of Lomita, CA; three sisters, Nema Wileman of Bay, Marlene (Kenneth) Jones of Jonesboro, and Carolyn (Pat) Lyons of Memphis, TN; 5 grandchildren, Dustin Timmons of Jonesboro, Bridgette (Chase) Sain of Rector, Morgan (Aaron) Winningham of Bay, Jake (Brianna) Martin Jonesboro, and Jessie Martin of Jonesboro; and five great grandchildren, Grant Winningham, Scarlett Sain, Lennox Winningham, Magnolia Margaret Sain, and Sunday Blocker.

A visitation will be from 12-1 pm Monday, July 18, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Bay.

A funeral service will follow at 1 pm Monday, July 18, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Bay with Brother Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. The active pallbearers will be: Chase Sain, Aaron Winningham, Dustin Timmons, Elbert Bradford, Steven Wileman, and Zach Morrison. Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Davis.
