Margaret Richard

Margaret Richard, 91, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, November 26, 2011, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro since 2008, moving here from South Village, Illinois. Margaret spent most of her life in Detroit, Michigan. Her children described her as a good mother and step-mother. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Webb and Maurice Richard, eight brothers and four sisters.

Survivors from her first union to James Webb are her son, Rubin Webb (Charlesetta) who have three children, Rubin Jr., Roney, and Rubetta,; these three grandchildren preceded Margaret in death; She had one daughter, Tina Smith, who has one daughter, Margaret Jean Preston; all of Jonesboro. Survivors from her second union to Maurice Richard she raised four step-children, son, Larry Richard, Maurice Richard, Jan Camper and Lula Richard, all of Detroit; brothers, Bo Roberts of Baldwin, Michigan; Tex Roberts and Coleman Roberts; sister, Scotty Roberts, all of Detroit; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December, 2, 2011 at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. There will be no public visitation.
