Margaret Maxine Passalaqua

Margaret M. Huckabee Passalaqua, 79 , of Imboden passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

She was born in Portia, Arkansas on April 10, 1934 to the late Robert and Rilligold Huckabee. Margaret was generous,independent, hardworking, kind hearted, and loved animals. She was a member of the Imboden Church of Christ. Margaret was a loving mother and had a special love for her grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her five brothers: Bryan Huckabee, Elmer Huckabee, Cleveland Huckabee, Cleo Huckabee, and Ted Huckabee; two sisters; Ann Wallace, Helen Mangram.

Margaret is survived by her sons: J.R. Hankins (Debbie) of Bryant, Chris Hankins (Tonya) of Pocahontas. Daughters: Betty Sullens of Walnut Ridge, Teresa Bristow (Terry) of Lynn, April Smith (Dean) of Imboden. Brother: Jimmy Huckabee of Coldwater, Florida. Grandchildren: Rick Hankins of Rogers, Autumn Sullens of Walnut Ridge, Kyle Bristow and Jared Bristow both of Lynn, Zachary Hankins and McKenzie Hankins both of Hoxie, Serena Finley of Pocahontas, Morgan Smith of Imboden, and Jacob Smith of Imboden. Great grandchildren: Devin Jones of Rogers, James Hankins of Perth, Australia and Corbin Hankins of Rogers, Krischan Couch and CJ Couch both of Walnut Ridge.

Funeral Service will be 2pm Saturday at Imboden Church of Christ in Imboden with Frank Foust officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time.
