Margaret Elizabeth Mooneyham

Margaret Elizabeth Chaffin Mooneyham,88 of Jonesboro passed from this earth July 26, 2015 at Craighead Nursing Center. She was born in Knobel, Arkansas to Clarence Willard and Dennis Tucker Chaffin. Margaret was employed at Steinmart and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and sewing. She also enjoyed the beach, walking and rocking babies.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband James of 64 years; 2 sons, Van Mooneyham of Jonesboro; Jonathan Mooneyham and wife Ellen of Germantown, TN; 2 daughters, Teresa McCown and husband Layton of Lewisville, TX and Dana Gibson and husband Kent of Jonesboro; 1 brother, Jack Chaffin and wife Edith of Heber Springs, AR; 9 grandchildren, Bryan Mooneyhan, Wes McCown, Bonnie McCown, Seneca Mooneyham, Kena Gibson, Dia Watson, Jillian Mooneyham, Analeigh Mooneyham and James Hall Mooneyham; 4 great grandchildren, Layton McCown, Trevor McCown, Fieldyn Mooneyham and Audrey McCown.

There will be a graveside service for family on July 31, 2015 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Jimmy Adcox officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. A visitation celebration will be held at Southwest Church of Christ, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:30 AM.
