Margaret Ann Maloney, 87, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, March 2, 2026.

She was born on October 19, 1938, in Jonesboro to the late Rufus and Opal Tippen. Margaret dedicated many years of service to NEA Baptist Hospital, working at both hospital locations and continuing her work until the age of 78. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to caring for others.

Margaret enjoyed shopping, traveling, and spending time in the kitchen, where she was known as a wonderful cook. She cherished time spent with her family and the many memories they shared together.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Thomason.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Hale of West Plains and Lisa Maloney (Juan) of San Antonio; her sister, Linda Turney; her special brother-in-law, Jim Turney; her special nephew, Paul Turney; and her beloved grandchildren, Lacy Hale, James Allen Hale, Julia Zemora, and Oliver Zemora.

The family would like to thank The Bungalows of Jonesboro, St. Bernard’s Total Life, St. Bernard’s Hospital and staff, and Lakeside Nursing Rehab for their loving care and services.
