Margaret Ann Maloch

May 4, 1951 — June 24, 2006

Margaret Ann (Andrews) Maloch, 55 of Jonesboro died Saturday June 24, 2006 at her residence after a six year battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Lubbock, Texas she lived there until moving to Abilene, Texas in 1985 and to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1997.

She worked at Arkansas State University until illness forced her to retirement in 2003.

She was preceded in death by her father H.D. Andrews.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, David Maloch of the home.

1 Son and Daughter-in-law: Andrew and Natasha Maloch of Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Mother: Margaret Corder: Lubbock, Texas

2 Brothers: Don Andrews and wife Clarice of Slaton, Texas David Andrews and wife Sherry of Lubbock, Texas

1 Sister: Suzann Andrews of Lubbock, Texas

3 Grandchildren: Shelby Brown, Haylee Brown, Carter Maloch and many relatives and friends and her beloved dog, Jack

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday June 27, 2006 at the Walnut Street Baptist Church with Dr. Glen Putman officiating. Eulogy will be by Ron Hatley. Burial will be at the McDaniel Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Ed Mason, Don Long, Dennis Sullivan, Ron Hatley, Charlie Higgins and Leroy Scott.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sisters in Survival Cancer Support Group and Ron Hatley’s Sunday School Class from Walnut Street Baptist Church and Dr. Ronald Blachly and the oncology nurses from NEA. Clinic

Visitation will be Monday evening June 26, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro

Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, The NEA Humane Society or the Walnut Street Baptist Church Building Fund
