Margaret Jeanine Willett Trevathan

Margaret Jeanine Willett Trevathan, 83, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, April 4, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro and a lifetime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a 1946 graduate of Holy Angels Academy. She was a retired bookkeeper from Riceland Foods and she loved to square dance, play cards and bingo, and especially loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. “Bud” Trevathan, son, Pat Trevathan, parents, Thomas and Anna Willett and 5 brothers.

Survived by her son, Rusty Trevathan and wife Briane of Jonesboro
Daughter, Linda Cole and husband James of Jonesboro.
Sisters, Marianna McClaran of Mayfield, Kentucky and Bertha Mae Schoenborn of Jonesboro.
6 grandchildren, Jake Hatley (Leann), Gena Cole (Craig), Tyler Trevathan (Laura), Jody Trevathan (Amanda), Sara Beth Cook (Bryce) and Cari Dunham (Drew).
3 step grandchildren, Greg Cole (Katherine), Lisa Hathcoat (Daniel) and Jason Cole (Lorie).
Sixteen great grandchildren and two great - great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 9, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with Father Jack Vu officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Jake Hatley, Tyler Trevathan, Jody Trevathan, Craig Cole, Bryce Cook and Drew Dunham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Carter, Paul Black, Jim Lowell and Ricky Hagar.

Visitation will be from 5 -7:00 P.M. Sunday April 8, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with the rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
