Margaret “Marge” Goldsmith, 87, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, June 5, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and had lived in Jonesboro her lifetime. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sweeney and Mary Lucille Smith Sweeney.
She is survived by her loving husband John Goldsmith Sr. of the home.
Two sons: John Goldsmith Jr. and his wife Dana, of Popular Bluff, Missouri.
Jimmy Goldsmith and his wife Christie, of Jonesboro.
One daughter: Julie Neace and her husband Tommy, of Monahans, Texas.
One sister: Shirley Keeley of Cordova, Tennessee.
Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 8, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro with Father Paul Worm officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 P.M. Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers will be; Bruce Broadaway, Doug Brimhall, Frank Mote, Warren Dupwe, Hunter Hanshaw and Bob Holloway.
