Margaret Davis Conrad

Margaret Davis Conrad, 85, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Jonesboro Health and Rehab Center.

Born in Carthage, Mississippi, Margaret moved to Jonesboro at an early age and lived most of her life here. She worked for Frolic Footwear over 30 years and was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church where she was a member of the Paula Richardson Ladies 4B Sunday school class. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: J.W. and Lilly Doty Reece; a daughter, Beverly Davis Hansen; her first husband, Sherol C. Davis; and a brother, Aaron Reece.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Conrad of Jonesboro;

2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Nolan "Bud" and Linda Reece, and Jerry and Carolyn Reece, all of Jonesboro;

2 sisters: Brenda Reece Ingram of San Antonio and Virginia Fielder of Memphis;

1 niece, Leeann McDaniel of Jonesboro;
3 nephews: Michael Reece and Jarrod Reece, both of Jonesboro, and Tim Fielder of Memphis; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Stan Ballard and Harold Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery. Pallbearers include Matthew Reece, Gregory Reece, Clay McDaniel, Terry Reece, James Allen and Richard Harris.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
