Margaret Baker

Margaret Baker, 82, of Jonesboro, died Friday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

She was born in Schenectady, New York and lived much of her life in Jonesboro. She was well known as the proprietor of Baker’s Ceramic Shop.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Baker, and by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include two sons, Craig Baker and Bryant Baker, both of Jonesboro; a beloved granddaughter, Allie Baker of Jonesboro, and three brothers, Nicholas, Louis and Edward Maura, all of Schenectady.

Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 12 noon until 1:30 and will include a brief celebration of life by Pastor Emil Williams. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery at 2:00 with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Jerry Yielding and Butch Yielding will serve as pallbearers.
