Marcia Marvine Overfield

Marcia Marvine McClanahan Overfield, 73, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born June 12, 1951 in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late George McClanahan and Nova Headrick.

In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, James Shannon; a brother, Michael Palmer and a sister, Anna McClanahan.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Doug (Allison) Walker; Timothy (Charles) Walker; daughter, Treva (Neil) Carter; 3 brothers: Joe (Brenda) Brown, Lofton (Brenda) Palmer, John (Carla) Palmer; 3 sisters: Leslie (Kenny) Ginn, MaryKay Smith, Genny Reece; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Services will be announced at a later date.
